From quote to crew at your door.
Two minutes to book. Five minutes to confirm. Two hours to load. Here's exactly what happens at each step.
- 1
You get a quote in two minutes
Pick the city page closest to your origin (e.g. /nc/raleigh), or type your ZIP into the search on the homepage. Fill in your name, phone, origin ZIP, pickup date, truck size, and how many movers and hours you want. There's a notes field for things like stairs or fragile items.
No account, no password, no credit card. You'll see a confirmation screen with the booking number.
- 2
Dispatch routes your job in 30 seconds
Behind the scenes: your booking drops into Slack for our dispatch team. They pull from a network of roughly 28,000 vetted movers to match your job to the closest available crew — we dispatch across all 50 states. The crew lead gets your contact info, calls or texts you within five minutes to confirm timing and rate.
- 3
A crew lead texts or calls within 5 minutes
Whoever took the job confirms the date, time window, and the per-hour rate. They'll ask a few clarifying questions: how many flights of stairs, anything specialty (piano, gun safe, art), parking situation at origin and destination. If your building requires a Certificate of Insurance, the crew lead works with you to file it before pickup day.
- 4
Pickup day: crew shows up with pads and dollies
You rent your truck through U-Haul, Penske, or Budget — separately, we don't broker that part. The crew meets you at your origin address with the truck. Quick walkthrough: load order, fragile items, anything that needs to go on last (heat-sensitive in summer, weight-sensitive on the rear wall, etc.).
Then they load. Most one-bedroom apartments take two hours. Two-bedroom houses run three. Three-bedroom houses with stairs run three to four with a three-person crew.
- 5
Settle up at the end of the job
Transparent flat-rate billing — the number you saw on the quote is the number you pay. Card, Venmo, Zelle, or cash; the crew lead confirms accepted methods on the dispatch call. No deposit, no booking fee. You're free to drive your truck wherever you're going next. If you need an unloading crew at the destination, book a second job from that city's page; we'll route to the closest available crew there.
