Flat-rate. No deposit. No surge.

We quote every job individually so the number reflects the actual work. The number we send is the number you pay — no upcharge on arrival, no booking fee. Billing happens at the end of the job.

What drives the quote

  1. 1

    Crew size

Two-person crews handle most one-bedroom moves. Three movers for two- and three-bedroom houses; four for larger homes with stairs or specialty items.

  2. 2

    Hours on the clock

One-bedrooms load in about two hours, two-bedrooms in three, three-bedroom houses in three to four. The crew lead confirms a realistic estimate on the dispatch call.

  3. 3

    Stairs & access

Walk-ups, basements, long carries, narrow doorways, COI requirements, piano/safe specialty items. Mention these in the notes — we'd rather quote accurately than re-quote on pickup day.

How billing works

  1. No deposit, no booking fee

We don't charge anything to submit a quote request or to hold a slot. Billing happens at the end of the job.

  2. The quote is the price

If the work runs over (unexpected stairs, undisclosed piano, packed-up walk-up), the crew lead calls you with the revised estimate before continuing.

  3. Multiple payment methods

Card, Venmo, Zelle, or cash. The crew lead confirms accepted methods on the dispatch call so there are no surprises on pickup day.

Ready when you are.

Pricing FAQ

Why don't you publish a rate card?
Loading rates vary widely by market — a 2-mover hour in Manhattan isn't priced like a 2-mover hour in rural Indiana. Posting a single national rate would mis-set expectations in both directions. We quote per-job so the number reflects the actual local cost of the crew.
How quickly do I get a quote?
We text or email the quote within five minutes of you submitting the form. Saturdays in May and end-of-month windows occasionally run longer; we'll always send something the same day.
Do I tip the crew?
Tips are appreciated but never expected. Crews are paid their full hourly rate. If you do tip after a clean job, $20–40 per mover is the local norm in most metros.
Is the price taxed?
That depends on the crew's local tax status. The quote we send already reflects what the crew will charge you on the day — no surprise sales tax added on the back end.
